What is SuperCraft?
SuperCraft is a generative ai software for designing and visualizing physical products
At the very core, it is a visual concepting tool that lets you quickly iterate and communicate your ideas to others
Traditionally, designing for the real world involved first drawing sketches, then creating CAD models and rendering them using specialized software
The renders are then used to gather feedback and, if changes are needed, the process is repeated
This process is slow and, not everyone can sketch, and CAD softwares have a high learning curve, and are an overkill at the concepting stage
With SuperCraft - you can quickly visualize your ideas using natural language, explore the design landscape and simulate your products in real scenarios via videos, BEFORE committing to building
This dramatically reduces the time to arrive at a winning design, and the hours spent communicating and refining your ideas with others
It also enables a more creative and explorative design process, where you basically play the role of a director, while the AI handles the manual work of visualizing your idea
In that regard, its very similar to Figma, where designers first create a pixel perfect replica of a website, which then engineers refer to code it up
